VOWR Radio Auction
The VOWR Radio Auction is a long-standing tradition for our radio station. Each year, we are able to generate funds which allow our volunteer-run station to maintain its high level of quality in providing the type of programming that is absent from most commercial radio stations and is enjoyed by our listeners. We are deeply grateful to our sponsors and area businesses and individuals for the generous support through donations of items for this annual fund-raising event, as well as their monetary support. We are also grateful to our listeners who faithfully participate in the auction each year and we are counting on your support once again this year. Finally, we wish to thank our volunteers who devote their time to work the phones and work behind the scenes in making our Auction run smoothly.
This year, our Radio Auction will be held on the the evenings of November 2 - 4 (Monday - Wednesday) beginning at 7:00 pm. The auction will be broadcast live on those evenings and can be heard on-line at vowr.org, at 800 on the AM dial or at channel 945 on Rogers Digital. The list of available items for the Auction will be printed in The Telegram each day of the auction or can be viewed by clicking the links below.
